Main Street Manayunk
Once one of the area’s busiest industrial centers, Manayunk is now one of Philadelphia’s most vibrant neighborhoods. People flock here not only for its dozens of bars, restaurants and local boutiques, but to explore its vibrant arts scene, kayak on the Schuylkill River or for events such as the Philly Cycling Classic which runs through Manayunk.
The One and Only Philadelphia
The second largest city on the East Coast, Philadelphia is well known for its place in American history but is anything but yesterday’s news. Home to the University of Pennsylvania, Temple University and Drexel University, students flock here from all over the world. The home base for companies such as Comcast, Aramark and Urban Outfitters, Philadelphia boasts many financial services, information technology and manufacturing companies. And with attractions such as the Liberty Bell and Independence Hall, tourism is also big business here.
Historic Bala Cynwyd
Bala Cynwyd is only seven miles from Center City Philadelphia, but a world apart. A part of Lower Merion Township on Pennsylvania’s Main Line, it’s known for its strong sense of community and history. The downtown district is on the National Register of Historic Places and some of the region’s oldest and finest stone mansions are located here.
